Seafood is popular among coastal countries. Where shellfish make a major portion of seafood. Shellfish are basically invertebrate animals that live in water and have a shell as an exterior body covering and are usually edible.
There are two types of shellfish - molluscs and crustaceans.
Mollusca include - octopus, squid, mussels, oyster, snail etc.
While crustaceans include - shrimp, lobster, prawns and crab.
Nutritional value - low carb food, minerals, lean protein, nutrients and good fat are present.
