eHealth - Wehubit launches a new call for proposals

This Monday 20th May 2019, Wehubit has launched its third Call for Proposals on the theme of eHealth . How can digital technology contribute to achieving universal health coverage, access to quality essential health-care services (including access to information) and access to safe, effective, quality and affordable essential medicines and vaccines for all, including financial risk protection?

Through its competitive fund, the program will select the most innovative projects, which are in line with its strategic orientations. It targets in particular projects wishing to deploy digital solutions in one of the 14 partner countries of the Belgian development cooperation, and implemented by public or non-profit actors seeking to scale up a digital application they have developed. The Wehubit program only funds projects with digital solutions already tested, and eager to:

scale-up the digital solutions so that these are rolled-out at larger scale and become more available, affordable and performing; or

replicate the proven digital solutions in other contexts (sectors, regions…)

In any case, the presented solutions must have already passed the prototype and pilot stages, and be sufficiently mature for scaling-up or replication.

The deadline to submit an application is 05th July 2019 . Applications must be submitted via the online portal

The first two Calls for Proposals were a success (respectively with 205 and 121 proposals received for the 1st and 2nd calls). We hope we can again count on you to share the launch of this new call in your respective networks .
