Call for Digital Technology Innovations for Resilience in Asia

Hi all,

We are currently working with the Rockefeller Foundation, in association with the Global Resilience Partnership, to identify potential digital technology innovations that may have a positive impact on resilience outcomes in Asia. We’re interested in the whole range of digital technologies, from mobile-based communications, to sensor technologies, gaming, big data applications, and beyond. If you are involved with the deployment of any digital technology innovation that is already or has the potential to enable individuals, communities or systems to survive, adapt, grow, and transform in the face of shocks and stresses, then please complete this brief form to tell us more about your work.

We will be compiling submissions into an inventory of innovations that we will publish and share with the wider development community as a quick and easy reference. Outstanding innovations may also be invited to participate at a two-day public convening on innovation and resilience to be held in Bangkok, Thailand later this year. In addition, up to five innovations may also receive targeted technical (and potentially financial) support to scale their innovations.

Please feel free to forward this email on to anyone else who you think might be interested. And if you plan to submit your work, please do so before March 24th. Thanks in advance for your contributions.
